Abraham Ghorbanian, DDS, MS
Dr. Abraham Ghorbanian attended East Texas A&M at Commerce, TX and graduated with a bachelors in Biology & English in 1992. He attended University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated with a M.S. in Biological Sciences in 1994. He attended the School of Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated in 1998. With an interest in progressive dentistry, Dr. Ghorbanian has completed many hours of continuing education programs and advanced dental education. He also is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association and Seattle-King County Dental Society. In addition he is a member of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a participant in The Pankey Institute Continuum. Dr. Ghorbanian has received many honors, and he perceives his patients as his own family members.
Gaoman (Gina) Gu, DDS, MS
Dr. Gu is a General Practitioner of Dentistry with comprehensive and advanced training in Orthodontics. She has been in the dental professional career for 22 years. In 1986, Dr. Gu completed an advanced continuing education as a certified orthodontic specialist. She then pursued more advanced orthodontic training in Japan from 1992 to 1997, and obtained her PhD degree in Dental Science. She completed the Oral Medicine Graduate Program, earned an Oral Medicine Certificate, and was granted the degree of Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) from the University of Washington in 2003. Since then Dr. Gu has performed both general dentistry and orthodontic treatments on the Eastside of Metro Seattle including Bellevue, Renton, Redmond and Sea Tac. In addition, she has been working for Mobile Dental Clinic for homeless people in the Tacoma area for over a year. Dr. Gu has been not only a multi-cultural, disciplined dentist but also has been an active researcher and scientist. Her research involves the fields of the craniofacial growth and morphology, head-neck posture, mechanism of malocclusion, tooth movement, bone distraction, animal surgeries, histology and immunohistochemistry. She has more than 20 publications in the most cutting edge dental journals in the US, Europe, Japan and China. Currently, Dr. Gu is an active researcher at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry, as well as a part-time Senior Fellow in the department of Orthodontics. Dr. Gina performs orthodontic treatments on numerous patients in our office and uses many new and cutting edge techniques such as Invisalign. Edward Im, DDS
Dr. Edward Im is a Family, Comprehensive, Cosmetic dentist. He grew up locally, while actively participating in numerous community sports and activities, and graduated as the valedictorian from Seattle University in 1995. Dr. Im has a unique background as a dentist, because he first went to Medical School at Creighton University and was a medical officer for the United States Army. However, after a heartfelt career change, he ultimately graduated with distinction and honors from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. Dr. Im is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle-King County Dental Society. A perfectionist at heart, Dr. Im strives to achieve excellence with every procedure, while practicing compassion with a gentle touch. Betsy Mosquera, DDS, MSD
Dr. Betsy Rocio Mosquera was born in Bogotá, Colombia (South America). She received her D.D.S. in 1991 and came to the U.S. in 1995. Since then she has lived in New York City, Boston, Chicago and Saint Louis before settling in Seattle. In St Louis, Missouri Dr. Mosquera received her advanced dental degree in the field of periodontics at Saint Louis University. Dr. Mosquera is directing the Hygiene Department for Aspen while providing advanced periodontal care including dental implants, surgical and non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease and numerous other surgical procedures to improve patient’s health as well as their smile. German Trujillo, DDS
Dr. German Trujillo was born in Colombia, South America, where he attended Dental School in a five-year program (Health Sciences Institute CES, Medellin, Colombia). As a native Colombian Dr. Trujillo is fluent in Spanish and English. He worked as a Family Dentist for 10 months in Colombia in a rural area of the country, before traveling to Chicago, where he completed a year of internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and thereafter attended a four-year residency in the same specialty. Dr.Trujillo’s surgical training was primarily at the University of Illinois in Chicago, and affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Trujillo currently resides in Seattle and treats patients for numerous conditions such as extraction of wisdom teeth, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, office based anesthesia, pathology, and corrective jaw surgery, and overall practices the full-scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
